I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it.— Revelation 3:8
Prayer for work and what comes next
You do not have to carry it all alone.
Prayer Opens Doors offers Christian prayer when work feels uncertain and the worries reach into the rest of life. Share what is on your heart, and a volunteer will pray for you with care and confidentiality.

A place for prayer in the uncertain middle.
Why we are here
The search for work reaches beyond a résumé.
Losing a job, changing direction, or waiting for an opportunity can affect your confidence, your family, and your sense of what comes next. Prayer Opens Doors exists to offer faithful Christian prayer and compassionate encouragement as people navigate all of that.
We cannot promise an outcome. We can make room for your request, pray faithfully, and treat your story with dignity.
Learn about our approachA simple, personal process
How prayer begins
A request takes only a few minutes. You choose how much to share.
Tell us what you are carrying
Share your first name or a nickname, an email address, and what you would like prayer for. You can keep the rest of your story private.
A volunteer begins to pray
A prayer team leader reviews your request and assigns a prayer warrior who has committed to regular, confidential prayer.
Encouragement comes by email
You may receive Scripture, a written prayer, or a brief devotional thought. A prayer team leader reviews every message before it is sent.
Our commitments
Care you can understand before you share.
Private by design
There is no public profile or prayer wall. Your request is shared only with the prayer team leader and the volunteer assigned to pray for you.
Prayer without meetings
Prayer happens privately. Encouragement comes through ministry email, with no calls or appointments to arrange.
A human reviews every message
A prayer team leader reviews outgoing encouragement. Automated screening helps organize and flag messages; it does not decide what is sent.
Prayer Opens Doors offers prayer and biblical encouragement. It is not a counseling, crisis, or employment service. Read more in our frequently asked questions and privacy policy.
There is room for you here
Receive prayer. Or offer it.

No. A first name or nickname is enough. We do need an email address to send your confirmation and any encouragement.
Will someone call or meet with me?
No. This is a private, written ministry. There are no calls, meetings, or direct messages between participants and volunteers.
How long does prayer continue?
An assignment begins with a 30-day term. Near its end, we ask whether you would like prayer to continue.
